I love the look and feel of this imitation leather edition of the NIV Women's Study Bible. I should also say that imitation leather has come a long way, it honestly has the look and feel of real leather.
I've gone through it a few days now and what I didn't care for in the hardback edition has been taken care of in the imitation leather. The Bible stays flat when reading it and it is much easier to handle the larger size one finds in a Study Bible. It makes reading through it enjoyable and there is a lot of information to enjoy.
This Study Bible is not the usual kind with mainly cross references and word studies. Instead it is one that offers many different reading options. From the text of the NIV translation of the Bible (with a decent size font), to maps, to bottom notes throughout, to an indepth Index, it would already be a good reference Bible.
However, this full color edition is designed for women and it is full of embedded information about the various women of the Bible, scripture as it pertains to women, teaching principles, and quotes from well known Christian women.
I highly recommend this imitation leather version of the NIV Woman's Study Bible.

That sounds like a wonderful study Bible. I am doing Women's Bible studies at my church and that would be a great Bible to take with me.
