I wasn't able to write on Sunday. This rainy late winter and early spring has brought about congestion that is very uncomfortable after having the infections. So I'm being careful and spent Sunday (and part of today) on the sofa so simple congestion doesn't become something more serious. I need some warm, sunny days.
Ironically, I was going to write about when life throws you a detour. I guess it is show and tell instead of writing this time.
There are emails to respond to, letters to write, and a couple doctor's appointments to make. They will eventually be accomplished. Along with housework and the other gotta do's of life. There is a possibility of snow at the end of the week. Perhaps freezing will be better than warm rain. Crazy weather.

Praying for you! Tea, rest, reading, repeat!
Oh I like Deanna's script. Take care and, yes, this weather is definitely whacky. Course it's always whacky. Praying for a quick return to vertical and warmer, more springlike days.
Thanks for checking in! Begin to get concerned when you don't post your usual weekend postings. Glad you are resting and taking it easy. We are having a Wonderful sunny, spring day after weeks of rain. But the breeze is still chilly and it will dip into the mid 30's tonight. I guess we all need patience this spring! Take good care!

Brenda just remember that those tasks not done today will still be there tomorrow or the next day. Right now your focus must be on you and getting yourself well.
As our weather finally cools down, I have been Autumn cleaning. My lounge and pool room have been completely reorganised. I don't know why I didn't change things up a long time ago. The new furniture arrangement just works. Whilst all the furniture was being moved, I took advantage and steam cleaned all the walls. All this together has freshened up the space.
I plan on going through the tinned section of the pantry as it really needs a thorough reorganisation.
Stay safe, stay well.
Life is good.
Dear Brenda: So glad to hear from you! Will continue to pray. (MD)
Good job taking care of yourself and resting. You'll be back in the saddle soon enough. Spring really is coming....
Wisdom it is to listen to your body's signals and respond appropriately...
Yes. Our weather (much like yours) is quite unpredictable. Changes even a few times each day! I watch for the sunshine and if at all possible dart outside to bathe in it - if even for a minute or so - before it retreats to its cloud cover.
Glad to hear from you; I got concerned on Sunday when there was no post from you. Good to listen to your body and take whatever time you need to rest and get strong again. Summer will eventually come! Here in Lake Havasu we're already in the 80's and it's just springtime. So glad we moved here before we got too old. I grew up in Vermont and then spent 25 years in Boston -- both areas had long difficult winters. True -- our summers can be rather uncomfortable with temps in the 110-120 area (and don't let anyone tell you it's just dry heat. Dry heat is like being in an oven!) but the sun shines almost every day and we don't have to shovel it!
Like so many, I was a little worried about you, but now that I know you were taking care of yourself I am very happy! Be well! Take the time you need to recover fully! Spring (real spring) is on its way even if we have a few snowflakes on Friday....There will be lots to do and you need to rest up and be healthy to deal with them......little by little. God bless you!
