In the days before the leaves were to become a carpet on my front yard, this is what my immediate surroundings looked like. :)
A neighbor's farmhouse...

Gorgeous! Brenda - I never tire of fall photos! I just love the colors and the cozy of them. I'm ready for that fire, mug of tea, and a book, of course. Thanks for sharing such inspiration from God's creation! Joy! Kathy
The cranberry apple tea bag is steeping so I thought I'd stop in for a visit. Oh, what beautiful trees. Around here the reds take their "good ol' time." During the first few days of November they are at their brightest - worth waiting for. Yours look so, too. Karen A.
Brenda, I know there have been many losses in your life, but all those trees around your home are an all seasons' gift of God... What a beautiful place He has set you in, knowing you would see His glory there.
beautiful! enjoy it while its there...we got our first snowfall today in northern MN. pretty, big, fluffy flakes...just not quite ready for it yet! God Bless!
Such beauty! I had commented to my husband yesterday that the trees seem more colorful this year. We currently live in the country and are blessed to enjoy similar views as yours. I want to thank you, though, for mentioning the illustrated book "Lark Rise to Candleford." I immediately went to Amazon and got a very good used copy for four cents! Plus postage, of course, but still a very good deal. It came from a library in England and I've enjoyed thinking of others who have read this.

Truly spectacular. As Kathyrn already says, I never tire of fall photos.
Gorgeous!
My Red Sunset Maples were so beautiful this year - looks like one of your photos had one too.
You are blessed friend to live where there is such beauty.

Beautiful!
I love all of these but I think my favorite is the photo along the road...just beautiful
Beautiful! Autumn seems to have passed us by this year so thank you for sharing yours.
You really are blessed to live in such a beautiful area. The trees are all still smallish in my neighborhood.
