Autumn's Last Hoorah...

From my porch with a zoom lens...
In the days before the leaves were to become a carpet on my front yard, this is what my immediate surroundings looked like.  :)

Gorgeous! Brenda - I never tire of fall photos! I just love the colors and the cozy of them. I'm ready for that fire, mug of tea, and a book, of course. Thanks for sharing such inspiration from God's creation!
Joy!

The cranberry apple tea bag is steeping so I thought I'd stop in for a visit. Oh, what beautiful trees. Around here the reds take their "good ol' time." During the first few days of November they are at their brightest - worth waiting for. Yours look so, too.

Brenda,
I know there have been many losses in your life, but all those trees around your home are an all seasons' gift of God... What a beautiful place He has set you in, knowing you would see His glory there.

Gorgeous!

My Red Sunset Maples were so beautiful this year - looks like one of your photos had one too.

You are blessed friend to live where there is such beauty.

You really are blessed to live in such a beautiful area. The trees are all still smallish in my neighborhood.

Such beauty! I had commented to my husband yesterday that the trees seem more colorful this year. We currently live in the country and are blessed to enjoy similar views as yours. I want to thank you, though, for mentioning the illustrated book "Lark Rise to Candleford." I immediately went to Amazon and got a very good used copy for four cents! Plus postage, of course, but still a very good deal. It came from a library in England and I've enjoyed thinking of others who have read this.
