I need chicken soup and tea

Does this chair make me look fat?

So much for popping in to at least say hello every day but hubby and I have each had a mild case of some flu bug.

You know the kind where you can pretty much get through the meals, dishes, and keeping the house from being overrun with clutter... but anything else is out of the question.

Chicken soup simmered on the stove yesterday, we were thankful for the whole chicken I'd defrosted earlier and that chicken soup with a little lemon is incredibly easy to make.

I'm doing a lot of writing for the weekend, though.  Still pondering.  Wondering how to word some things.  So I should be here tomorrow (Saturday)...

Hope you're feeling better. Chicken soup is the only thing when you are sick.
Victoria looks like she wants a pat.

Hope you both are soon well again! I had a touch of something for a few days last week - always "something going around" when the weather changes!
Thank you for your sweet note!

Hope that you are feeling better...glad that it is not so intense that you can't function at all. Still, get plenty of rest!

Rest up! This is the perfect season for a bit of chicken soup! Yum!

Grab a nice cozy blanket, snuggle up on the couch and start watching great holiday movies!

Take Care!

Chicken soup is the best medicine! If I were close, I'd bring you a pot myself!
Take care...

Chicken soup is excellent. With lemon, even better! Keep cozy and rest and drink your liquids! May you and your husband feel much better very soon!

Feel better soon! I had some sort of thing yesterday and took to my bed by early afternoon. That seems to have done it since I feel fine today...I hope :)

Found you blog from standeyo post of all things. I am one of those on the East Coast who went through the hurricane. Fortunately, and it will sound strange, we were in the eye and because of that did not receive damage or high winds to the degree other areas did. We did not even lose power. I am in between Atlantic city and Philadelphia. I've bookmarked your blog. Oh...by the way, I have a big Maine Coon Kitty too. Kathy
