Please remember my sister in prayer

I just received a call from my niece that her dad is dying. They have asked me to come to the hospital to be there for my sister. This is one of those instances where a family member has been ill for a long time and his passing will be difficult for my sister but he will not be suffering.

We were so thankful my brother-in-law made it to their 50th wedding anniversary. That was a miracle. We all think he was hanging on just for that day.

I believe he had honestly come to know the Lord these past few years. We all saw a change in him that reflected God in his life. Bonnie has known him since junior high and they married right after high school. This will be hard on her so I know she can use your prayers.

Praying Brenda...I remember you saying recently that all but one of your siblings are old enough to be your parents...It is hard as our loved ones age...for everyone.

So thankful that he knows the Lord!

I will be thinking of you and your sister and family and sending up a prayer for all of you.

I know this is a difficult time, but it is a time for family to join forces and prop each other like the far reaching roots of a tree.

With love,

Sharon

Oh my - I haven't read all day - I was busy at work - just reading this now at 7:45pm. However - I know there is a post after this, so I'll go to that, praying all the way.
