I will be back later today with a Pantry Post but I am also over at the
I Take Joy blog today chatting about my summer reading plan.
Quite a few have asked about it so mosey on over...
here.
You can always find
I Take Joy on the sidebar icon. Sally Clarkson shares her wisdom and what is going on in the
Whole Heart Ministries... and she lets some of her friends share, too. :)

I like the child reading on the porch, and will go read your blog post now.
Reading is such a treasure! We are so blessed to have so many good books available.
At the I Take Joy site, in the "About Brenda Nuland" why are Christopher and his wife missing! Or did I read too quickly?
It is adorable! Okay, heading for Joy...
I didn't realize it does look like they are left out! But I had mentioned them in the middle paragraph. :)
Hi Brenda I would like to ask you how you choose a used book from the list on Amazon. Are books that have been written in acceptable to you? Do you mind if the cover is damaged or missing the protective cover? If the pages of the book are in good condition, is that all you are looking for? I am unsure of what matters most in purchasing a book.
I have found a new "old" author who reminds me of Elizabeth Goudge. Her name is Nelia Gardner White.
Friend Debra
I truly enjoy(ed) Victoria Holt's books but have red them all. She has passed away so there will be no more.
I loved this post. My summer is too busy for a summer reading list this year. Instead, I have a summer Bible study and will fit in a few books when possible. I have lots of old friends in books. If I start to mention one, I won't be able to stop. Little House comes to mind for starters...
