This year's "Feast"...

I thought I'd post some pictures from this year's Feast of the Hunter's Moon.  I almost didn't go this year as Hubby was ill and couldn't go and the weather was not the best.

Mr. & Mrs. Christopher
But I ended up going with Mr. & Mrs. Christopher on Sunday and we had a wonderful time.  I will let the pictures speak for themselves...

That looks like fun! I love these kinds of events.

Glad you got to go, and I hope your hubby is feeling better.

The Wabash is lovely...have heard of its beauty before...moonlight on the Wabash or something...it's buried in memory so deep that I'm having trouble retrieving it.

So glad that you were able to attend this year. (Hope that your hubby is well on the mend.)

It looks as if you had a day that not only looked autumnal, it felt like fall, too.

I got goosebumps seeing the photos and admiring how much work and care went in to making each costume.
The photo of the 2 canoes and the flag is a perfect photo!

It looks like an interesting place to visit, especially with the costumed historical feast day. I remember you like Colonial Williamsburg-type of happenings. I do, too. Sorry your Special Someone could not enjoy it with you.

Brenda!!! Yes! We are home now after the most marvelous trip. I have so much to tell and share. :) Plenty of blog inspiration for a year to come. :) I have something to get in the mail to you soon but my new goal is to not go directly back to completely stressed out living so not sure how long it will take. :) I thought of you all the time and wished I could have brought you home 10 suitcases of things..... :)

Glad you got to the Feast! Looks like a lovely day! I'm so glad we made it last year and got to see you all!
