Talking about scrapbook journaling...

I'm over at Mom Heart today where I share how keeping a scrapbook journal has been such a blessing.

I will admit to Coffee Tea Books & Me readers that I began writing on one subject but this kinda' took over the entire article.  Now I know what fiction writers say when the end of the story surprises them!

The rest of this story is... here.

I'm glad to see your Srapbook Journal again. Have you seen the Gooseberry Patch web-site lately? They are starting a new e-magazine for free, showcasing all of their recipes and beautiful photography and drawings. I know you'll love the pictures.

Wonderful post filled with goods words of wisdom! Wish I could have read this years ago! Love seeing your scrapbook journal, too! Have been pondering similar things that I've learned over the years...funny how it has taken me so long. I appreciate the little things more these days. And the joy really is in the journey! For one thing, I can't afford, nor do I have room for everything I desire!
Just got back from a week at the ocean. Wanted to post a comment on your previous post about the books you're reading. I have and Love the same ones you do! Just found "The Egg and I" in a used book store at the ocean. Have you read that one? Saw the old movie years ago! Hilarious, but as I remember, also sad in a way.
Fall is upon us...it's a beautiful season. One made for cozying up with a cup of tea and a good book!
Blessings,
Laura from WA

Decorators use this idea with clients - having them go through magazines and pull out pictures that 'speak' to them. Sometimes it is a theme, or a color, or a style, but after a bit the designer can use it because what the client really likes is evident. That's what you did with your scrapbook journal.

I haven't worked on mine in quite some time but I do love it.

Thanks for the inspiration.
