On Mom Heart, I'm writing about the gifts we can give our children which we don't buy at the store but gifts that will remain with them (hopefully) all their life.

I enjoyed your post over there and if I could get the comment feature to work for me, I'd leave on there. My dear friends are so upset today having just learned that their son is giving up Christmas. Not because he doesn't believe in the Christ of Christmas, but because he has decided that it is a pagan holiday and Christ was not born in December and yadda, yadda, yadda. He'll not be home for Christmas and on and on. All I can think is that he is a very immature 45-year old who would not celebrate with his aging parents and a world that is hungry for the Lord he knows.
