Downtown on an October morning

I had to go Downtown to the Farmer's Market this morning to buy raw honey for winter bread baking.  In spite of all the glorious veggies, I stuck to my budget and came away with three pints of raw honey... and one package of pecan sticky buns from the Mennonite Lady as promised to my husband.

So... enjoy the Beauty and I must add that indeed... that last picture was taken on a Downtown street as I walked back to my car (standing in the middle of the street with the zoom lens!).  :)

When one has a very large University in their town, one may come upon their research in the most unusual of places.  :)

I hope you enjoyed just a little of my Saturday morning Downtown.

Really beautiful! You have much more color in your neck of the woods than we do on the south shore of Long Island. However, the bright blue skies we've been enjoying make up for it! There is just something special about bright October skies, especially after a grey spell. There are so many butterflies this autumn, many different kinds. Don't the monarchs know it's past time to migrate? Hope you husband enjoys the sticky buns. Dee

Oh the colors of harvest! Rich and beautiful and now I feel like having a great big salad. You are enjoying far more colorful foliage than we have yet. Still green or brown for the most part here.

Wonderful fall colors. You are ahead of us, though today I realized our color changing has begun. And WHAT a lovely (county?) courthouse. I wonder when it was built. There are so many beautiful old courthouses to be seen in this part of the world. May all that honey give you a sweet winter!

You do have some awesome color this year!! I HOPE ours will be like that too...it is JUST starting here.

I was able to open the windows for one afternoon this week and let those fabulous mountain air type breezes blow through...first day so far this year it was the right weather for such and it was SO good!! Rest of the year has been either heat or AC.

Beautiful downtown!

Lovely colors on the trees, nice veggies...

Glad you got your raw honey. We have a local source and we love it. I never liked honey until I ate raw honey.

Have a lovely Sunday!
