I can turn all of the above...
Into this...
Actually, two trays of goodies with plenty of leftovers for Dad.
The pumpkin bars were made more Christmas-y with the addition of Christmas sprinkles, probably purchased on clearance last year... or two years ago... they last virtually forever.
This very favorite family recipe can be found... here. It serves a lot and doesn't cost much (especially if you can stock up when the items are on sale).

Aren't pantries great. Glad you were able to help your son that way. Hugs
Good recipe and YES, those sprinkles last. I swear that some of them in my cupboard are from when my son was young...a while back.
I love my pantry too!
Sending love,

Brenda, Love your header! Thanks for your visit to my blog and your kind comments. I wish you and yours a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

I was just thanking the Lord for our pantry today - but only after grumbling a bit about trying to fit more in! I feel so very very blessed - but I've decided to add a pantry sized cupboard to my 'pray and wish' list for the laundry room! I need a bit more space!
This was my first day of feeling quite human after struggling with a nasty cold and I finally got to the grocery store! Our daughter went with me and she and I had so much fun matching coupons with specials and saving $79! She was so thrilled and the lady behind me told the checker she wanted the same coupons! It's a little bit of work to clip and a bit more time at the store, but it makes a difference in how I can stretch the budget and stock and pantry! Now we are all set for next week's cookie baking!
Yummm! Those look so good! I'm going to make these this week. Cream cheese has been on sale and I put a couple in my freezer. Gotta love having a stocked pantry!
