My Thursday

Two trips to the clinic and still no insulin.

Two trips to campus.

Two hours of waiting for Christopher at McDonald's this evening.

Too tired to write.

(((((Brenda))))). How I wish I lived closer - I could at least pick up Christopher - but it is dumb to even go there, since I live VERY far away and am not likely to move to the Midwest, barring a miracle of tremendous proportions (my husband, IF we move, is set on Boise and Boise, alone.)

The dealings with government run medical care, like any dealings with government run anything, would try the patience of Job. Prayers for you to have your insulin without further aggravation, not to mention something to sooth the sore soul....love you, my friend, even if we've never met in person.

Hi Brenda :) Ugh! My goodness what a day!

So... I am sending two sets of two hugs. Hoping that tomorrow doesn't find you having a Fried-day ;) Love you, Q

If I were there, I would tuck you into your favorite spot (couch?), make you a cup of tea, wash the dishes, get your insulin, pick up Christopher, cook supper, wash dishes again, and make sure you were not disturbed until you were all better! Please know you are loved.

{{{{Hugs}}}} Please don't overdo - you might get the flu. This sounds like so many of my days. Hang in there! Much love - Raquel XO

So WHY is there no insulin for you?I can't even begin to imagine! What do they say? Is this what we all have to look forward to with healthcare? I'm praying for your strength to return and the Lord's blessing on you! V.

Brenda, I hope you have enough insulin that you are still taking your full dosage. I'm a little worried.

You need to get away from two, too.

If you felt like it, you should go stay the day (pack your lunch to take along) at the clinic. We are currently dealing with similar incompetence with some suppliments my daughter needs badly. Today, after waiting and calling numerous times over the last 2 weeks (the clinic is 90 minutes away by free way...$20 to travel there by car), she is going to the health food store and get their brand which may not be as good, but tis better than nothing. And we will be searching for a better more reliable source. You would think, that the pharmacy connected to the clinic, supplying their patients with needed things, would find it needful to be helpful. But they must have all the money they need now and not care a fig about their patients. Apparently. Meanwhile, daughter is in pain and suffering. Says she realizes now how much pain she used to have before she began this...cause now it is back. SO SORRY, Brenda...our new bodies one day will be more than welcome won't they?

Prayers and hopes that you are soon feeling better!! IF we were users of insulin, I would send you some of ours!!! Maybe you need to go to the emergency room and let them get you some. Maybe the govt would rather pay for THAT!!
