A day at the amusement park...

We had lovely weather for the drive to the amusement park and our day there. It can be quite hot this time of year at the park so temperatures in the mid-70s with a nice breeze were welcome.

Where's Grammie? Behind the camera as usual.

Our family is known for their "take no prisoners"
approach to bumper cars.

Elisabeth and David taking off in their plane.

I have lots of pictures of this little guy.
Can you blame me?

Brother and sister together again.

Does Stephanie know she's being stalked?

I'm not sure what they were all looking at but it looks important.
(Granddad, Stephanie, and the world's best Son-in-Law)

Hmmm... this guy keeps showing up in my pictures.
That cutie with him is Faith.

Mommy has to hold Matthew but Faith rode her own horse.

Leaving the park... what was he looking at?

You must have had just the most fun watching the grandchildren enjoy that park. And to see your children together again. Fun!

You look like you had a blast! Fun, fun. It's always wonderful when you can spend the day with your family...even when meltdowns occur. ;)

So sorry it took me so long to reply to your comment - I was kept busy as a bee at work!- but here it is:
Thank you for leaving a comment! :) It's always delightful to hear from you, especially as I know you have so many other blogs to read! ;) It's good to "see" you again too.

Wow...your "children" are spread far...lol..yes, it truly is amazing how close you can become to someone you've never met in real life! I don't suppose I could be your blog "granddaughter", could I? :)

P.S. I finally had the Spiced Pumpkin Latte in December last year...it WAS yummy and very cinnamony and pumpkiny but a little too much coffee for me to handle. I think I'll stick with my Mocha Frappachinos, but I'm glad I tried it! Mmmm, some spiced pumkin muffins sound wonderful too... *goes off to the kitchen* Alas! We're out of flour!

P.S.S. Your recession posts have caused me to look at things much more frugally. Instead of peering into an "empty" fridge and having my dad go get groceries, I'm learning to finish the food we have in the house first; I'm stopping to enjoy the tuna/canned chicken sandwitches. :)

Hi Brenda,
I am playing catch-up tonite with blog reading, and I wanted to mention a book to you after seeing your raised bed pictures below.
My favorite gardening book is "Square Foot Gardening" by Mel Bartholomew. I'm sure your library has it. Try to get the revised version which came out just a few years ago. Because of this book I had a lovely raised bed back in the mid 90's that I loved. It was 100 square feet. Did you know you can grow 16 carrots in just one square foot?
I love this book. I think you would too.
Blessings!
