The Farm Chicks in the Kitchen, a review

This is the book I was able to purchase with my Amazon credits this time. Thank you so much to those of you who remember to click on my widget (or the widget on blog friend's pages). It doesn't cost any more for the books and we build credit little by little. I know it takes some thought, I forgot to order through a friend's widget this time!

Last month I was able to use my credit as part of a purchase made for two birthday gifts. This month I had enough to order this delightful book, which has been on my Wish List since it was available.

The book is a combination of lots of good recipes, craft ideas, vintage decorating, and stories about the two Farm Chicks ladies.

It's the kind of "cookbook" I love, one I've already spent a few evenings curled up with a cup of tea, my reading glasses propped on my nose to catch every word, and a snoring kitty at my feet.

Absolutely highly recommended! I added it to my Amazon Widget with my other Favorites.

(Click on pictures to get a better look at the books.)

LaTeaDah did a post about the Farm Chicks on April 20, which you might be interested in.

There are a couple of cute photos and I was surprised to see lovely, everyday women. I don't know what I expected before. ;D

I was given a $25 gc to the local bookstore. I just might use it to purchase this one. Thanks for the recommendation.

This looks right up my alley! I'm going to look into it and see if I need to put it on my wish list too!
