Yes, when next week? Until then, we are the same age ;o) (and P and I just celebrated our 34th anniversary last month). 'The Wedding Song' was one of my all-time favourites!
Dear Brenda I just want to say Thank You for all the wonderful posts you have had. I so enjoy reading them. I would really like to email you, you feel like a kindred spirit to me. I did not want to just email but want to find out if it is ok for me to do so. I live away from my family and friends and I feel you are talking to me so much. You seem like such a good friend and share your everyday life. I miss that so much. I am in contact still with alot of my friends from up north but I feel like I found a new one in you. Blessings Janice
Don't know if you know it or not, but there's a button on Blogger that you can set so that the comments box will pop up as a separate box. This allows the music to continue to play while someone is leaving a comment or reading comments others have left. I was just enjoying the first few lines of The Wedding Song when I clicked on comments to let you know how much I liked it, and the music immediately stopped. It does this on many of the blogs I visit, but on others that use the pop-up box, the music continues to play. Just thought I'd mention it in case you didn't know about it.
believe it or not, I actually got the kids ready for VBS early enough last night to drop by the post office before they closed and we all marched in despite the heat and humidity (no REALLY it can get hot and humid here!) and we sent your package off :) I was cheap and sent it parcel (6 days)...sorry, but $3 almost buys a gallon of gas :) it should still get there in time....
I love this song too! My husband and I were married in the 1970's also. We were married in a park, so we didn't have any music. I would have picked this song, had there been music.

I so love this song...I remember 20 or so years ago (that long!?!) a very special friend (we lost contact) had this song played in her wedding too.
This song was sung at my parents wedding.

Okay, when exactly next week is your happy birthday? You know you have lots of friends out here that would like to celebrate with you!
Have always loved The Wedding Song.
