I'll be back later in the day with a Sunday Afternoon Tea post. However, I did so want to wish everyone a blessed Mother's Day. We rarely go out to lunch or dinner on this day since the restaurants are so busy. We may go out Monday, using an Applebee's gift card my hubby received as a birthday present.Christopher surprised me with this after I picked him up from work Saturday evening (he couldn't wait to give it to me today). It is a really cute Vera Bradley shoulder bag, just the right size when running errands. I trained that boy right. He purchased it on sale at the bookstore. :)
We appear to be in the midst of a monsoon season in the Midwest. I'd like to know when my beautiful May weather is coming back. I think even the farmers have had enough rain.
