Back online around next Saturday

I took the rest of the bags (one box of "stuff" and four bags of books) to Goodwill today. Normally I'd take the books for the library sale but this time they could use them, it saved me a trip to the library.

We finally had sunshine today so I was able to get out and get a good look at the deck since it was washed, stained, and sealed. Wow... it looks like a brand new deck. Okay, so hubby was right that it had to be the priority this spring. It will extend the life of a beautiful "outdoor room". The young couple who built it had a large extended family so it made up for a small house.

I'm beginning to feel less stressed, in a far better fettle than the beginning of the week. Much has been accomplished and my budget is squeezed but workable. I was paid today for the work I did at the bookstore a couple weeks ago... just in time to order Christopher's graduation cap & gown, plus his diploma. We'll still see how we can fit in the other extra expenses, but we'll do it.

I've gotten together some books, the camera, extra time (getting away from the computer), and a little cash... all for next week. I'll be back... Lord willing and the creek don't rise (and with all the rain we've had this spring, that is a subject of prayer!).

Brenda, I will miss you, but it sounds like you have a full plate. I am excited for Christopher and happy you got some things hanging over your head accomplished. Take a deserved break and I look forward to hearing from you again. You have a wonderful blog and I may reread some of your past blogs in your absence. Have fun!! Trish

Have a wonderful break. Breathe deeply, read a lot, sit and watch the rest of the world go by and thank God for each moment. We'll miss you and will look forward to hearing about your time away. ~Adrienne~

You're taking a break? Need to go read your earlier posts. I've become so crazy busy myself this week that I didn't have a moment to catch up with my favorite bloggers. This is unacceptable!
