I will be writing out some suggestions about becoming more "recession proof".I am not a trained financial advisor (although I did take Econ in college). :)
However, having definitely "been there" a few times, I have learned some lessons. Check back tomorrow after I have more time to put thoughts to paper (or keyboard).
