I'm still here! I'm using my son's laptop before heading out to work today. I'm only working one day "here and there" now but today is a home football game so I promised a couple weeks ago that I would sub for one of the students at the bookstore.
It has been a very long week with wrapping up our autumn projects (my husband is putting a fresh coat of paint on the front of our kitchen cabinets today), preparing for a house guest, and then having my sister here from Florida. We've had a great time together but the visit is also sad because my other sister's husband is in the cardiac care unit of a local hospital. I don't think he is going to make it this time. I held his hand and chatted with him yesterday, asking him if he knows he is ready to meet the Lord. He smiled and told me he is tired and he is ready.
This is a man who used to give me a lot of grief, one of the relationships I had trouble with... a person for whom it was difficult for me to pray for at times. I hope to write more about it tomorrow. How wonderful it has been these last couple of years, being able to hold him before the Lord and asking that none of the sins he committed against me (especially verbal) be held against him.
My computer is with a computer doctor, if he cannot fix it then we will take it to a more expensive computer hospital. :)
I hope to post a Sunday Afternoon Tea tomorrow but it may be Monday. Right now I'm working around a (welcome) house guest and the availability of a laptop that is often at the Community College. I hope this is readable, I'm not use to the "look and feel" of this machine.
Be back as soon as possible. Keep checking back as I hope to write at least every two or three days. I appreciate all prayers of healing for my own machine! I miss the old familiar screen.

It was so good to see your post pop up today! I've been thinking about you and wondering how your computer was. Thanks for letting us know how you are.
Praying for your brother-in-law!
So glad to see something from you!
Very glad that your computer is with computer doctor. And if he can not fix it, it will go to computer hospital. :-) I feared you would be without a computer, from now on. :-(

I'll miss you and hope you are up and running again soon...
I pray for your sister and brother-in-law as he nears the end...
I am very happy that you had the opportunity to post today. It isn't the same when you aren't here.
Something about the brother-in-law story resonates with me so I definitely will be checking back.
I hope your pc makes a good recovery at the Dr's..lol. And how precious that you have healing from the old 'wounds' and are able to be a comforter in the Lord to your sister's husband. I'm sorry to hear the sad news about his health. Joy cometh in the morning...we all shall experience it in Christ our Lord...won't we!
