I just love the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning. Besides purchasing honey from the "Honey Man", I bought...
Flowers
and...
Veggies and Fruit and pecan rolls from the "Mennonite Lady"

I do miss having easy access to a weekly farmer's market. The closest year round market to me is about 15 miles away, and it's held on a day that I'm not in town already. I always bought an inexpensive bouquet of flowers and it was the honey lady we bought from. I can still hear her throaty call, "Pure Local Honey HERE". She was quite a character!
Well, I think I have figured out what my uploading problem was. Why it would work sometimes and not others. So I can post them in a timely fashion (rather than four days after the Farmer's Market.) :)
We have a Farmer's Market that's even closer than this one (just a couple miles down the road) but it's only mid-week and I'm rarely about to go.
This one is Saturday morning and it is lovely, especially in autumn.
Oh, yes... the big bunch of zinnias was only $2.50. I love all the colors.
I normally don't purchase baked goods since I make my own for far less. However, my husband LOVES the pecan rolls this family makes so I bought them as a treat for him.
Christopher doesn't care for nuts so he he shared one for me and hoarded the other four rolls in the package, hehehe.
Brenda ~ I LOVE farmers' markets, and it looks like you brought home some farmers' market items to remind you of the atmosphere all week...well, maybe the pecan rolls won't last that long! :)
Wow, what an inspiring blog...love the music as I click in...I've just been to a Josh Groban concert last month and it was so moving I wrote a review of it. Thanks for all your thoughts, quotes and lovely pictures, and music. I share some of your favorites. You're most welcome to read some of my reviews.
Yum...those pecan rolls look delicious! If your family is like mine, those rolls are already gone! And with a good cup of coffee....oh my! There's nothing better than fresh produce from a Farmer's Market...well, unless it's from our garden! LOL Blessings, Amy

Glad to see more pictures. Glad you are getting right into the swing of taking them and sharing them.

Put on a pot of tea or coffee, and I will be right over to share those pecan rolls!
I have admired you blog for quite some time, but never left a comment. You do such a nice job! I love the music. (I don't know how to do that!)
My blog is quite simple compared to yours, but come on over and take a look. www.barefootsoul.blogspot.com

Pretty pictures, Brenda, and I love the way you arranged your flowers! I need to get some little vases like that. :o)
