An afternoon tea for two

Here is the table set for an afternoon tea for my husband and me.

A close up of the wonderful cinnamon chip scones!

This was a new recipe I've wanted to try for awhile but I couldn't locate the cinnamon chips anymore. Thankfully I found them again last week at Target.

I've posted the recipe on my recipe blog. :)

Our afternoon tea is part of the virtual tea party at Make Mine Pink.

Brenda ~ it's beautiful! Thank you for the scone recipe. We just enjoyed cranberry scones at our anniversary B&B - now I'm inspired to try scones myself!

Oh you are really getting settled in nice and cosy after that run at the bookstore :o) I'm so glad to see it. So happy for you that you got your freezer--that's really great. Also, how wonderful that you received the loving gift of the digital camera. It's so nice to see the photos. Your tea party is just beautiful---and was no doubt delicious. How wonderful for you and hubby to share the special time, together :o) Thanks for sharing it with us. Eat a scone for me, okay. Have a lovely day dear friend.
Lovingly, Jewels

Very lovely tea table --- isn't it fun having tea with DH? I've never tried cinnamon chips --- I'll have to check Target out. They sound delicious! Your scones look perfect, by the way. :)
