So, she's becoming more like her mother is she?

My daughter called me this afternoon, two calls in one week is about as rare as hen's teeth. As we were chatting, we had the following conversation. She asked if it would end up on my blog and I said no. However, when she told me she was six when I was her age and she remembered what my brain was like (and the fact she is becoming more like me everyday), well...then it is open season on family members and blogs. This was just too good...

Daughter: The Appalachian mountains around here have different names for each state...the White Mountains, the Green Mountains, the Berkshires, etc.

Mother: So, are the Smoky Mountains the most southern part of the Appalachians (we honeymooned in the Smoky Mountains so I was wondering).

Daughter: "I believe so, of course in Pennsylvania they are known as the Pekingese mountains".

Mother: "Uh...do you mean...Poconos? You don't even like Pekineses."

About five minutes of uncontrollable laughter followed.
