Glad to be inside on a morning like this

Brrrr...it is cold outside. Although I was up fairly early for my "sleep in" morning, it was good to sit inside with a cup of coffee and watch the morning news regarding travellers slipping and sliding outside. Definitely a good morning to be home.

I will soon be making my son's favorite breakfast, one I only have time to do on Thursday mornings...sausage, potatoes, green peppers, onions and scrambled eggs all eventually mixed together with grated cheddar cheese on top. Let Denny's even try to make it better than Mom's!

My ponderings of the day is on Advent for Evangelicals, where I have written a guest blog regarding one of my favorite books, Shepherds Abiding. You can get there by...clicking here.

Now, I am off for a leisurely second cup of coffee and to write a list of my gotta do's that must be done today (laundry, baking, candy making, and general clutter clean up).

I enjoyed reading your post over at Advent for Evangelicals. The Mitford series is among my favorites. I have read "Shepherd's Abiding" and agree with you about it celebrating the true meaning of the holiday. Thank you for sharing!

I'm going to get this book.

Sounds like it would be a great book to read with my daughter.

Merry Christmas!
