I *fear* the word "Beta." [because my computer geek friend says it 'means' - not all the bugs are out yet. :-)] I do hope this is a happy switch for you though, and I'll be interested to see how you like it.
I'm just a 'scardy-cat' with changing anything in my blog yet. -sigh- I'm still trying to learn to use it, as is. :-)
I feel the same - there are still so many things I don't know how to do - do I really want to add new features to figure out? Maybe I'll be brave and follow your example!
Believe me, if I can do this...anyone can! I have a computer geek son and I didn't have to ask him for help even once. It makes it SO much easier to add things to your blog (like the picture in the corner, giving all your separate posts a heading like "homemaking", etc.)
The only problem I've had is with logging in and that's because I've forgotten my password. That's age...not blogger!
I waited for awhile until I saw quite a few people were making the change and I didn't see postings about problems like I did at first.
