A Quick Update

Well, the series of three office visits to the retinal specialist to receive four injections each time in my eye is over (actually, one of the injections was to take liquid out of the eye to relieve pressure).  Thank, God!

He even opened his office on the 4th of July so I could get the last series of injections on time. He once told me the one thing we didn't want to happen is for one of my eyes to get infected and now I know why.

I still cannot see out of my right eye but the intense pain caused by the infection is not nearly as bad and I'm overall feeling better.  Because I have to limit screen time, I still cannot blog.  Hopefully by next week, I can write something out on paper and then just type what I have written... as opposed to staring at a blank screen for awhile while the next sentence is being formed in my brain.

This has been a difficult year and I appreciate all of you so very much.  Thank you for your prayers and such.  In the universal battle between Good and evil... God wins.  :)

OH, I can only imagine how uncomfortable those injections were. Glad they are over for you. Now on to complete healing of the infection and the restoration of your eyesight. God is on His throne and He knows your need and hears all our prayers for you. Hang in there; it certainly has been a difficult year for you so it's time for things to get better.

Brenda I am praying for wonderful healing for your eyes. You are right, God always wins the battle, in His good timing. Often I am impatient, I admit.

I’m still praying. I can’t imagine not being able to see out of one eye, when you’re such a reader!

Praise God that those injections are behind you. Believing for ongoing healing and a complete restoration of your sight. Don't try to blog; don't try to read. Audio books are your friend. Love your faith, you are an inspiration. Yes, God wins! Always!

Glad you have made it thus far!! A teacher at our granddaughter's preschool has had a horrific time with an ear!! She may never regain her hearing and the pain for awhile nearly drove her insane. Something like this used to be virtually unheard of in an adult...makes you wonder what strange things are going around these days. Rest well. And the rest of us will keep praying
