NKJV Unapologetic Study Bible, a review

The NKJV Unapologetic Study Bible is not a true Study Bible as we usually think of them.  It does have an overview of each Book of the Bible but otherwise does not contain the kind of references one would usually find for study.

However, it will be highly useful to anyone wanting to get past political correctness in today's churches and have available information they can come back to within the context of the New King James Version text.  I'm sure most people will be interested in simply reading through many of the articles.

While not everyone will need this type of Bible, it will be a welcome addition to the reference library for many.  The Bible contains articles from Kairos Journal throughout on eight subject areas.  They are:
  • Church
  • Corruption
  • Economics
  • Education
  • Family
  • Government
  • Sanctity of Life
  • Virtue
These subject areas are color coded so when one sees an article with a background of a certain color, they will know which of the subject areas pertains to it.  There is a very useful Index of Topical Features in the back of the Bible which is color coded making it easier to look for specific articles within the body of the text.

The NKJV Unapologetic Study Bible was provided by the publisher for the sake of review but the opinions are my own.

This sounds useful and of interest to me. I have been taking Women's Bible Study at church for quite a few years. We are studying Ephesians now.
