In the Middle of the Mess, a review

Sheila Walsh has once again taken us into the world of a Christian living with depression but this time she also deals with the subject of suicidal thoughts.  Since she lives with depression herself, she helps us understand what it is like for our friends and relatives who also suffer.

She also will be of help to those who suffer from a mental health disease but are afraid to talk about it in the Church.  While the subject is important and serious, Sheila uses her good nature and humor to share stories that makes this book a joy to read.

Chapters Include
  1. Everyday Salvation
  2. Burying Our Secrets
  3. The Walls We Build
  4. You Don't Have to Hide
  5. No More Bumper Sticker Faith
  6. Let Go
  7. Beautifully Broken
  8. Rejecting the Lies We've Believed
  9. Get Back Up
  10. You Are Braver Than you Know
  11. Fully Known and Fully Loved
  12. Miracles in the Middle of the Mess

I highly recommend In the Middle of the Mess: Strength for This Beautiful Broken Life.

In the Middles of the Mess was provided by the publisher for the sake of review but the opinions are my own.
