I know it has been quiet this week but I have had a mild case of flu. You know the kind that makes you move slowly but doesn't knock you out completely. With all the illness going around over the Holidays, I am thankful for just a mild case!
I have been forgetting to mention the whole Followers thing on the sidebar. A few weeks ago, it was quite shocking to log in and find over thirty followers gone immediately (and more since then).
Usually Blogger sends an email before they make changes but this time they did so afterwards! Yikes! I wondered if I had said something but couldn't think of a thing... But it turns out that beginning January 11th (or so), all non-Google Account Followers will no longer be able to follow as they did before.
If you are are needing to change the way you follow the blog, the easiest change to make would be to sign up to receive it in an email format. That box is located on the sidebar of the blog.
I will be back Saturday!

Thanks for the heads up on that -- I wondered why my numbers went down.
Aha! It was shocking wasn't it?! I also thought that I must have said something. LOL! Glad that you have a mild case of the flu. Well now, that just does NOT sound right. Feel better soon, my friend.
I am actually quite sick about this - changes can be good but not this one.
I cannot STAND to follow through email - I have 5 email accounts (work, junk, personal, general and blog) and I don't want to be bombarded with emails. I am so not happy about this, and if I am not surely there are others. Ugh.
Oh well.
A great way to follow the blogs you love, along with other web sites (such as news, YouTubers you enjoy, etc.) is to use the free Feedly service. It'll just take you a few minutes to add all of the blogs (blogger, or other) and websites you want to follow, and Feely will keep you update and current. Check it out at feedly.com
Pretty sure I still get your blog since I saw it in email. I wonder if I lost a bunch of followers too, although I am on wordpress right now.
Sending wishes you will be back on top of things health-wise soon!! Tis no fun being ill!! Hugs...Elizabeth in WA
