Lavender love... |
Today is my "little at a time" sprucing up, dusting, polishing, and generally getting the house ready for Mrs. Christopher's family to join us in our Thanksgiving feast day. I was so happy to hear they would be coming again this year. Wednesday is my cooking ahead and pie baking day. Thursday is for giving thanks, feasting... and a long nap. :)
So welcome to my world, this time over the past two weeks.

Love your pictures. Of course my favorites are of Miss fluffiness. But all are appreciated. Hope your Thanksgiving is happy and healthy. Cecile
How sweet the lavendar arrangement. Her fluffiness is so cute standing looking out the window. It was cold (frigid) and wet here in my corner of Texas yesterday. Have a blessed and happy Thanksgiving with your loved ones. Sharon D.
I like the way you capture the light coming into your home, the light of a sunrise, and the light of a leafless group of trees against the winter sky. The photos definately put me in the mood and mindset for Thanksgiving. Thankful for you, Miss Brenda, and your blog!
And that is just the way to spend the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I accomplished some similar things, though I
also had a nice visit with my sister. Victoria will not allow a surprise attack of squirrels. Have no fear.
Such a peaceful and comforting post. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Lavender is my favorite color! Thank you for showing your books- I just ordered the "Winter Solstice " from paperback swap. Have a wonderful cozy day. Dee
All of these photos are a) beautiful, b) heartwarming, c) cozy-feeling-inducing (sorry, I couldn't think of a single adjective), or d) all of the above. But I think my favorite is the sunset. God does such glorious work in His skies!
Glad you liked Pilcher. I need to start into it for re-reading it this year. The Goudge book sounds good. Maybe I will interlibrary loan that next year......
