Morning sunlight... |
Oh, I know... come February it will not be so charming. I'll then have dreams of May garden planting and daffodils and shades of green returning to my yard. But until then I enjoy slipping on my favorite Irish sweater (the one in my profile picture, a gift from my daughter when she visited that country) and enjoy the lack of heat and humidity.
Reading
Will review soon but for now I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book on the Kindle. |
Tea and Books
My sweet friend, Heather, brought a couple books back from Scotland for me. This was delightful even without reading the previous book!! |
Watching
PBS has shown two seasons and I LOVE this humorous mystery show. |
Baking
My favorite banana bread... |
Kitchen Art
Her Fluffiness
I was asked what kind of camera I use. It's an old point and shoot digital camera that a wonderful blog friend sent me (many years ago) when her family bought a new camera. I keep it most of the time on Intelligent ISO and snap away. :)
NOTE: Sorry if this showed up in your rss feeds numerous times. One of the photos kept showing up with writing over it and I finally had to remove it completely. That has never happened before!

Banana bread looks delicious. I love your transferware--so cozy and homey and "fallish". Winter hurts this body but now is just right. Have to start planning for family Thanksgiving which is usually at our house. Like to get as much done beforehand as possible so I don't have to be in a frantic rush the night before.
Blessings, Sharon D.
Nutty blogger...not you! I still see writing over the first photo of your very content and mellow kitty. Victoria must love the cozy season, too. Hmmm...book reviews coming. Lovely! Must get out my tea pot as yours looks so charming.
Both the Freeman book and the BBC series are new to me. I look forward to checking them out.
I love your photos every week.
I'll have to check out the BBC show - it looks interesting.
I'm loving the cooler weather too - we were mild this week, but the weather will soon slide into downright cold!
I need to read more books this coming year.

I love th pic of your bread!
I am pleased to see that Other People's Cats also sit/recline where they choose!
Victoria looks so mellow as she soaks up the sunlight. Such wonderful companions cats make!
yay for matching china and matching books. :) I'm still in the Middle of House of the Deer but I do love the cover, even if it is crazy 70's -- mostly its the plaid dress. :)
I still see the photo with writing on it in? The mornings have been cold but then by afternoon I have to change back into shorts and t-shirts. I can't wait for it to just be consistently cold!
Love the glimpses of transferware!
