My World this Week

I've been very ill with vertigo but I took these photos before it hit Sunday night.  Thankfully, it is much better and the room no longer spins when I move my head!

So... here is my almost recent world in pictures.

Reading
Lost in the Psalms...

Watching
The new season of Masterpiece Mystery has begun with the final episodes of Inspector Lewis.

Flowers
My English Garden in a Pot is flowering nicely.

Dish Love
My sister gifted me with this teacup before she moved.  It is by Clarence Bone China of England.

Garden Progress
The "new" herb garden raised bed, the nasturtiums are growing great this year!  They died last year in the drought.  :(

Decorating by Tweaking
Love the vintage looking dairy container Stephanie gave me, I filled it with daisies.

Her Fluffiness
Victoria guarding her rope.

Sorry you've had a bout of vertigo...but my goodness! How bright and cheerful the rest of your post!

I'm quite "jealous" of your green thumb! Alas, I have NO luck with annuals (partly because I'm not faithful with water & fertilizers, I think).

Ugh...that's one I also have from time to time. Thank goodness for you tube where I found a little self-treatment that works pretty well for me.

I love these glimpses into your home...wonderful images of sweet domesticity.

Tim has had vertigo a few times before - not fun.

I LOVE that teacup! How unique and beautiful!

I love to redecorate by moving things around...

Your English Garden looks wonderful and so does your herb garden. I love nasturtiums!

I hope your vertigo rights itself.
Your sunny deck with its happy-faced flowers announces summer.
What an unusual tea cup! But just right for country living. One of my story characters would feel at home drinking from a tea cup with decorative pinecones.
I also like your "Dairy Fresh" filled with daisies.
Please Take Care

I have BPPV and now that I know what it is, I can often stop it before it gets started by moving my head or sitting up......I hope that is what you have because it's pretty easy to deal with.......Your world looks fresh and full of life!

Your deck is beautiful--so colorful and cheerful. And the English flower pot garden--very pretty. Thanks for sharing your "vignettes" with us--the scriptures, the teacup, tweaking--I love them all. Hope you are feeling better soon.
Blessings, Sharon D.

the psalms have been my devoted companion as of late, as well..i'm currently drenched in ps 60s & 70s. :)

lovely cup.
precious kitty.
we're growing tomatoes
and basil and that's all.
and i'm ok with that. :)

vertigo. hm. for me it's one symptom of a rather serious car accident some 14 years ago. less so now, but still bothersome. i'm sorry you're experiencing this malady.

Love the teacup!

Yuck vertigo. I don't know if its the same, but I get seasick...on flat water. Bleh. I ended up trying the patches and it totally fixed the problem.

I hope the vertigo has stopped!

Love your deck Brenda! That red umbrella and all those pretty planters makes it such a cheery looking place to be.

That dairy container that Stephanie gave you is so cute filled with the daisies. I always enjoy photos of Her Fluffiness (even though I'm not a cat person) :)

Yikes, vertigo is no bueno! My mom had it a few times and was always quite unsettling because it would hit her randomly. Hope you're getting some rest and feeling better...all your pictures of your "Current snapshots of life" look lovely. :)

Love + hugs!
