With so much to do outside and a shortened week (well, we still had seven days but it seems like six)... I'm running late this week.
But I managed to take my camera and snap away at what is going on in my world. :)

I will write more about it later but this is perhaps the prettiest and most practical cookbook EVER! I have had it a couple days and I already have multiple recipes marked to try soon. |

Oh, my! Such diverse beauty and points of interest in this post! I really like your "new" chair. It looks very comfortable and fits the corner perfectly! And I'm sure that cookbook has wonderfully tasty recipes in it...
Wow! That chair looks awfully comfortable. How will you stay awake? ;)
Lovely post! What an awesome find of your new blue chair! How Wonderful! Your garden is ahead of mine! Our weather turned cold and wet this month, but will turn sunny and warm next week, so I'll get to finish planting it. I have cute little terra cotta bunnies, like yours (only white) on my deck. I Love them! We usually have the real ones (wild) running around our back yard, but haven't seen any yet. So, at least my lettuce seedlings, that I planted in the raised bed outside of the fenced garden, are safe for now. I planted onions in the same bed, so maybe they'll leave them alone. I planted my herbs in pots on the deck, but they're outgrowing them! It's so much handier to snip them there when I'm cooking, then to have to walk out to the garden! Oh well,I guess I'll just have to get bigger pots!
Hugs and Blessings,

I LOVE your English Garden! I think the colors are wonderful. I know there will come a point when I no longer have the energy to keep up with my cottage garden and I will go to all pots on the porch or deck...
I can't wait to get the Mennonite Girls Celebrations book!

Your deck plantings look so pretty!
Wow that was a good find at the thrift store!! It works perfectly in that corner.
The cookbooks has such a pretty cover - can't wait to hear what you have to say about the recipes.
Have a great weekend!
Yes! That herb garden is really perking along. Ohhh...that chair is speaking to me. I'm so ready to be done with the Volkswagens and move on to something that will fit the space better. Must keep my eyes peeled for such things. I'll not be buying new as I once had thought.
Must get my Celebrations ordered. I really want to sit down and enjoy it.
Such a lovely post! The chair is a terrific find and everything is growing great.
