Spring storm...

This is not what we usually think of when the words spring + storm are written together... a record breaking late season snowstorm.

We ended up with about 9" of snow from the one storm.  The counties just west of us had up to 14" of snow fall and they had county roads still under snow last night.

What is beautiful in January is oddly less so in late March. I know that it'll be gone in just a few days as you're going into much warmer weather, right? Hope that weather frog was right. ☺ In the meantime, keep your cozy going!

We probably had 3-4 inches yesterday.

The most we've had at one time all winter....

This weekend is supposed to be nice! I hope so!

I know you in the North have had enough snow, but those pictures are beautiful!

2I think YOUR storm blew on over to us. The best thing I can say about it is that did create some beautiful photo ops! I am SO ready for some sunshine & warmth.

Our landscape looked like yours a couple days ago. I think it hit Colorado and then moved on to you.
We needed the moisture, but it was so cold and windy that it wasn't a nice day!
We will get more snow. April is one of our snowiest months. Seems like spring is a long way off.

Beautiful photos.

Wow. It is beautiful but certainly not what you are yearning for this time of year. My folks were married in early April of 1956. Dad almost didn't make it to the wedding because of a 17" snowfall! (He lived a couple of counties south in NYC). Crazy weather! D/NY
