Saturday Pantry Suggestions

Lots of cooking and baking going on behind my front door!

Well, we are all still here so I'd say it is zero for the pagan calendar and one for the Bible.  Except it is far more than just one... having lived through many "end of the world" predictions.

I wonder if many of us found ourselves looking up and around from time to time, though.  Is there something to this earthquake sun explosion tsunami volcanoes going off thing?  Hmmm... it seems when the Creator designed the Universe, He made it so the solar system could handle these kinds of celestial line ups.  God is so smart.

I am in the midst of great busy-ness at the moment so I don't have time to even tweak last week's Pantry post I had written.  We are celebrating our Christmas dinner on Monday and I must finish all that must be done ahead.  It seemed so LONG before Christmas would be here and now it is right around the corner.  Yikes!

This coming week there will be plenty of opportunities for after-Christmas sales stocking up.   In past years, I found great pantry items like summer sausage, crackers, various cheeses, jams, etc. on clearance (not to mention peanut M&Ms but we won't go there...).
