Merry Christmas

May you all have a lovely Christmas whether it is quiet or crazy.  Our celebration with the newlyweds was on Christmas Eve so today will be quiet, which is just what I need after days of cooking.  :)

Miss Victoria has been in quite a snit as she has not had the minimum daily amount of required attention this past week.  So... today we will read a little, watch a couple of Christmas specials on TV, and tell her she is such a pretty kitty.

Many of you have become good friends, some I've met in person but most I'll have to wait until the Marriage Supper of the Lamb when we will have full knowledge and (I am so certain) recognize each other!   You are greatly appreciated.

I am now taking my annual "downtime" between Christmas and New Years Day-ish, which is required to center my soul and prepare it for the new year.  Be back then, God willing and the creek don't rise.  ;)

Merry Christmas to you and Miss Victoria, and may your New Year be blessed with health and happiness and inspirational blogging, like I learned you did in 2012!
Cheers!

Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to you and your family. This has been a different Christmas for me filled with emotion and some sadness as life has changed and I miss those who are no longer here. Thank you for reminding me of "the supper" where I will see them again. You brighten so many people's lives. Reminds me of the song by Ray Boltz, "Thank You." Have a restful "down time" and I look forward to your return, Dee

Enjoy this time away...I can't step away as I have a new toy this Christmas and must practice. Isn't that a likely story? Take good care...hope that you have lots of time to gather thoughts, spend with friends and family, and Victoria!

Your reminder, as the year comes to a close, of our one day meeting at the Supper of the Lamb brought this verse of a John O'Donohue blessing to mind-

'We bless this year for all we've learned,
For all we loved and lost
And for the quiet way it brought us
Nearer to our invisible destination.'

It will be a delight to meet you there.

Praying that your heart and mind will be filled with purpose, surrender, and blessed rest as you center your soul on the Lover of yours, and still your heart in His presence for the gift of God's coming year.

In His Grace,
Michelle

Merry Christmas! Thank you for your sweet comment, grandmamma. Sounds like a lovely way to spend Christmas. I searched your blog last week for Christmas-y book recommendations before heading to the library. ;)Love and prayers to you!

Brenda, sorry that I'm just popping over to see your Christmas post. I do hope that you had a very enjoyable Christmas (as we surely did!) and will have a happy and healthy New Year.

Merry Christmas (a bit late)! I have been enjoying your blog for a few years now and thought it was about time I say Hello. I live in Western NY State and am a 55 yr. old homeschooling mom of 3 and grammy of 2. I wanted to mention that I loved your book/movie list. I just started reading Grace Livingston Hill; thus far "The Witness" and "Marcia Schulyer" and LOVED them. I purchased the Enchanted Barn on ebay and that will be next. Bought North and South DVD for my married daughter as she is a big Pride and Prejudice Fan. Your list was very helpful. Blessings from Rhonda
