You know, all those "how to grow your blog" ideas say the title should be something a search engine is attracted to... obviously Friday Morning is not in that category.
But it fits today... it is morning on Friday.
I DO love the ummm... teacup. It is actually a Starbucks coffee cup they sold many years ago.
I think Stephanie had a couple of them, too. While you know I love beautiful English china, this particular cup works well for a hot cup of tea and it fits under the red mini-Keruig when I make coffee or (yum) an apple cider K-cup.
I thought I'd wax poetic about a couple other items from yesterday's post. I added the BBC Christmas DVD on my Amazon widget yesterday as the price has gone down to about $20.00 (at least it had yesterday), really inexpensive for a lot of good TV if you like British comedy and dramas.
It is a compilation of two DVDs... one with all comedy episodes and the other with all drama episodes... that cost much more than that apiece. I'd forgotten how much I loved All Creatures Great and Small and they have a Christmas episode of many favorite shows like Keeping Up Appearances. I think the most recent show they have is the Christmas episode of Larkrise to Candleford.
The Miss Read book called Christmas at Fairacre contains three Christmas books in one... Village Christmas, The Christmas Mouse, and No Holly for Miss Quinn... three of my favorite Miss Read books! I also added it to my Amazon widget for it was on sale.
This particular volume makes an excellent introduction to the Miss Read books, for each volume can be "stand alone", good for those who have not read her other books (and enjoyable for those of us who have). I love the Miss Read books, although I have not read all of them.
I'll find out the name of the tea for you, it truly is delicious. However, my stash was shared by a dear friend who gave me some of her bulk order and I don't remember the brand name.
Many thanks for the recommendation of another website that recommends free and reduced price Kindle books! I've already "liked" it on Facebook. It is eReaderIQ.com... here. I've bookmarked it to peruse, too. :)
As for magazines, yes... you can read magazines on the Kindle. I downloaded a few copies of Backwoods Home magazine that were offered for free. However, they are not all that easy to read on a small black and white Kindle like mine.
Many magazines now offer subscriptions for the Kindle and I have seen older copies of magazines like Where Women Create available for the Kindle.
I know quite a few people who have the Kindle App for their iPad and love it for magazines (and cookbooks show up well on it!). Yes... I'm afraid I sin when I think of iPads... coveting, you know. ;)
Thank you for the kind comments about the way Coffee Tea Books & Me looks for Christmas. I had actually designed the header long before Christmas, testing it out to see if I liked the look. The header will probably change a few times over the Holidays... lots of good photos to settle for one this time of year.
I'm also sorry for those of you who may have been confused by the color changes that went on for a few days, hehehe. No... you were not imagining anything. I was just tweaking the paint!

"friday morning" posts agree with me just fine. :)
Tweaking the paint...I wish we could do it that easily on walls. Oh my titles aren't going to bring anyone running either. "Kitchen Light"? Oh, well, maybe. Ha!
Shhhh...I have ordered a certain someone a Kindle Fire and so I'm finding that your links have been very helpful. A certain someone just gave up the local paper so I'm hoping that he will be able to pick some reading material up via the Kindle. Maybe. I really don't have a clue.
And now I want to go buy all those things you mention. Really, Brenda, someone should hire you to sell things. You do an excellent job!
This is a fun, chatty post! I feel as if we sat together drinking tea and having a good catch up chat! It's the best!
