There and Back Again: An Oxford Tale

Some of you will have seen this already on Sarah Clarkson's lovely blog.  The videos were made by her friend (and fellow Oxford student) Ben Bailey... there are more lovely videos in his series... here.

I have not watched them all, yet.  They have been my reward for finishing a must-do job.  :)

Thank you Sarah for sharing you friend's work with us!

I am in our shoppe today, and while it has been quiet I have watch all 6 episodes. It is beautiful and made me want to weep in parts.

I wish he would have shown us the dining hall - the church is beautiful.

How interesting and lyrically told...wish that I had more time to listen to the end and will probably return so that I can. I did find it interesting that this student of Tolkien pronounces the name as he does. I was taught and taught that the author's name is pronounced Tol-keen as that is how Mr. Tolkien pronounced his name. What do you think?

My son and I watched it the other day and found it a wonderful tale. Thanks for sharing it again.
