A place to write...

Perusing British Country Living... a part of my Wedding Recovery Box from Heather last May.

I know I've been "out of pocket" recently.  I have e-mails that are unanswered, a guest post to write, and my own blog posts swirling around in my mind... not yet put to paper (mouse?).

There are seasons in the life of a blogger when it is just too hard to sit down, even if one has a nice place to write.  So... today I thought I'd share how my desk is developing over the weeks and tomorrow I will share what is keeping me from my appointed tasks... outdoor Beauty.  :)

A thrift store find that I keep right in front of me!

Lots of reminders of family and faith!

My collection of vintage tablecloths are in the corner.

Sorry about the flash...

It is so nice to have a place to work now.  What a blessing finding this desk at Goodwill was at the time, it still gives me goosebumps.

Now... there is dinner to cook, dishes to wash, and then tea to brew (or perhaps an apple cider K-cup?), a favorite TV show to watch, and then a book to read.  ;)

You have a very nice place to call your own. It is nice that after the kids are gone (moved out) we finally have a place we can call our own. Not that I didn't enjoy the busyness but I also like the quiet and a nice place to rest, read or write.

Sounds like a pleasant evening and you have created yourself a cozy, happy nook. I'm willing to allow you to ponder what you're going to write about knowing perfectly well that it will be worth waiting for. Sweet dreams...

What a lovely & organized space Brenda!

That corner shelf with the cubbie underneath is really wonderful!

Beautifully tidy and honey! My space has to double as a guest bedroom, so not as much leeway as I'd like to indulge in my favorite things. I've recently painted the walls and husband put down new flooring, so that is inspiring me to become better organized.
I'm admiring your corner shelf with the storage nook beneath.
