I heart summer flowers

I don't know what it is about yellow
and red together that makes me happy.  :)

A little clucky gossiping going on under the daisies?

I moved this planter so I could see it from my kitchen window.  So pretty!

Regarding my hostas - - I will probably move a couple divided plants to my front yard, otherwise I have offered them to a friend who is working on her landscape.  They were planted by former owners and they make that part of the back fenceline look gorgeous.

Wow...has Blogger been skitzy or is it my computer?

I love these early morning shots and I really like the little grouping of chickens at the base of the flowers.

If my tiny, wee hosta takes off, I'm hoping to plant a row of them along the fence. If I lived closer, I'd be eager to take some off your hands!

:) My chickens were hard at work yesterday destroying seedlings in the garden. Grr... I am glad yours are so well behaved.

My in ground flowers are doing well, those poor potted ones on my deck...I need to water them more!

Happy 4th!

The red and yellow flowers in your picture are so cheerful! I love geraniums, bright red ones are my favorite. They don't mind the heat and they bloom like crazy all summer and well into the fall. I've two hanging on my front porch, two planted near my goat yard (just took pics of them to maybe use on my own blog later this week), and I'm hoping to swing one more ivy geranium next payday (using a coupon with a sale at Home Depot).
