Hostas in bloom

Each year I am startled by the beauty of these hostas as they show off their spikes of lavender blooms.

Yes, I am aware they need to be thinned out and divided... kinda' low on the priority list but we'll get there.  :)

They are GORGEOUS! My mom always had hostas and they are one of my favorites. I've never planted them here as I don't know how they hold up in the heat and because I never had much shade - however, I've been thinking lately of adding to under a few trees we have.

Ooooo, they're so pretty! I have a spot that I'd love to plant Hostas in my backyard. Someday. Just as you mentioned, there are just so many more things that are taking priority.

Beautiful flowers....even if they need to be thinned out somewhat.

I rather like them in all their abundant glory! What does one do with the thinned out hostas? Toss? Replant? Give away? It would seem that a gal could run out of gardening space for hostas since they're rather particular. When I was thinning out that lily of the valley, it was suggested that I sell it because so many people want to buy the stuff.

Gorgeous! What a lovely thick stand of Hostas. Yes, I have several big clumps of daylillies that need dividing - but like you say - low on my priority list right now.
