A quick wedding photo

Granddad, Grammie, grandchildren, and the happy couple

I had planned to write once or twice before the wedding but I barely had time to sleep!

It was a beautiful wedding and reception.  I will chat more about it after my family leaves and my brain begins working again.

Many, many thanks to my precious Heather for my "Wedding Recovery Box"!  Stephanie and her family spent a very nice time with Heather's family when they drove through Indianapolis.

We knew my real life daughter would get along well with one of my blog daughters and her family!

I was exhausted on the long drive home from the wedding (working with three separate towns, each about an hour apart, made it a challenge) but I was looking forward to opening my Wedding Recovery Box when we arrived home.

It had yummy food, chocolate, pretty things, and enough copies of British decorating and gardening magazines to make me happy and relaxed after days of very long hours.  They will be enjoyed over and over in the weeks to come.

Photo:  Stephanie took photos with my camera while we posed for the professional photographer.  I was quite surprised and delighted to see them on my memory card!

How thoughtful! And what a sweet picture you shared. Hope the recovery-period is short and well-spent and the marriage LONG and well-spent :)

Brenda,
Congratulations on your wedding. Lovely bride and handsome groom! I'll look forward to more pics. I kept checking in but figured the wedding was taking your time. I so missed your posts but understand certain things MUST come first. ; >) Hope you recover quickly and can get back to "normal" (not being so tired). Blessings, Pam (S.D.)

A wonderful photo of the family! Christopher looks so grown up here. (Of course, he is, but I remember pictures of a younger Christopher.) The bride is radiant. You all look great! I love the pictures on the children's faces, especially little Anna (I hope that I have the name right and that is Anna on her grandfather's arm.)

How kind of Heather to send you a wedding recovery box! Now you should spend some time just recovering, and decompressing as much as possible! I'm in awe of all you did!

Beautiful, even the baby who looks none too pleased about Uncle Christopher being married. ☺

Now you'll all be able to get some rest and enjoy these wonderful memories of such a lovely day. I do want to hear much more about it all and see more photos, too, of course!

Thank you for sharing a wedding photo so soon. So glad things went well. Love the idea of a recovery box for the parents. I did one for our son and his bride for the honeymoon(it was actually called a midnight snack box).
