February morning light...

February light is usually an oxymoron where I live but this year it has been beautiful.

One good thing about sunny mornings in winter when you live at the edge of a forest... the sunshine makes its' way into the house.  :)

Today is beautiful here too. Sunny, but chilly - amazing for February!

I love the light pouring in...your photos are so nice - I have been noticing that I have a lack of plant material inside now that the Christmas stuff is packed up. You have nice greenery around in each room - I must remedy this in my home!

Have a lovely weekend!

Wow...that was almost as good as Vitamin D. You've shown us some nooks I haven't seen before and this is just plain weird, but this morning I was taking pictures of the sunlight playing on the walls, my stovetop, nooks and crannies. I tell you, if I showed the pictures, people would think I'm copying you! I love especially the photo of the light streaming in over the basket of flowers and the flags tucked in. Very cheerful!

Finally have time to catch up my reading! I love the thrift finds! You are so fortunate! I never see these kinds of lovelies at our GW!

The calendar is marvelous! It puts me in mind of how lovely Williamsburg can be in the fall!

And the light... ah... I adore winter light, don't you? There is something about the defused nature of it, isn't there? I love twilight for the same reason. There is something about the pause at the end of day, just before it is dark... Lovely!

Have a marvelous weekend!

Wondering about the print above the patterned lampshade (or three prints) ... look a little like Tasha Tudor (my favorite). Also, are your flowers real? Having trouble keeping real flowers going indoors this time of year, but love them. A few African violets are still hanging on and offer some cheer. Very pleasant pictures. Enjoyed the visit!

Lovely home. I liked the old fashioned cookie cutters. My mother had some like that. Do you still use them?
