Eden String Quartet DVD, a review

I'm so happy to review the Eden String Quartet DVD from Franklin Springs.  This is a lovely story of the four oldest girls of the homeschooling Miller family who make up the Eden String Quartet.  I had previously viewed the documentary on TV, it is one of my favorite Franklin Springs stories, not only an enjoyable story of a homeschooling family but the music throughout is beautiful.

The DVD contains the original documentary with the story of the young women and their family (parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters) interspersed with concert footage.  However, the Special Features section allows you to watch only the documentary or only the concert.

One can easily pop the DVD in the player and listen to the beautiful string quartet concert music of great old hymns of the church and favorite classical selections while doing household work and studies.

I highly recommend this DVD for anyone, it is enjoyable to watch regardless if you homeschool or not.  But it is especially good for families desiring role models for their young girls to grow into godly women... and to provide inspiration for young musicians who may be more than just a little weary of practicing.  :)

This is one DVD you will find yourself watching over and over.

The Eden Strings Quartet is available through Franklin Springs... here.

I so enjoyed learning about this family as I have not heard of them before. What talent and ability! I spent quite a bit of time circling around the video and listening to other clips. Just beautiful.
