Food, Inc.

This evening on most American Public Broadcasting stations (PBS), Food, Inc. is going to be shown.  I have seen part of this documentary before and found it fascinating.

This is one of those instances where the "far right" and the "far left" have a lot in common as we care deeply about how our food is grown and processed.

More information can be found... here.  It may be listed under POV in your tv listings.

Thanks for the heads-up, Brenda. I had it on my Netflix queue but I had to recently cancel my subscription so I wasn't going to be able to see it anytime soon. I'll be watching tonight.

Haven't heard of this. I'll have to give it a peek! Hope Hubby has a grand birthday! What kind of cake?? I can just imagine what kind of goodie you baked! Yummers!

Hang in there. Pollen counts down this week!

Take care,

Matty

I finally got to watch this on PBS last night. I already knew most of it, but how good (and terrifying) to see it all in one place. I came out of it thinking that the most patriotic, freedom-loving thing any American can do right now is grow some food and buy from farmers we know, and take back our food freedom! Monsanto, IMO, is worse than the Soviet Union.
