Cough, cough, sneeze

Christopher gave me his bad cold.  Wasn't that nice of him?

I am miserable.

At least there was about a half an hour between stopping the antibiotics and this.

There is nothing common about the common cold.

I've been looking for you since yesterday - thank God you're ok. Well, at least you're mostly ok. Praying that your cold goes away QUICKLY - and that a little hint of spring begins to peek around the corner at your neck of the woods.

I have a few with the 'common cold' right now. One has pain in her ear, poor girl.

Hope you feel better soon!

Brenda, I am so sorry you have been sick with a bad cold. I was just about to email you to make sure everything was okay. Rest and keep fluids in you. That's the best thing you can do. Take care and stay on that couch with Victoria.

SO glad to see your post!!! Since you missed the Sunday Afternoon Tea, I have been praying for you. How can we encourage you? I can pray for you, but wish that there was something tangible like a hug or a cup of tea that could be shared. Blessings and a speedy recovery!

Poor Brenda! Isn't this a winter for being sick! I just was getting over my long cold and delightful pink eye when I had to drive to Pennsylvania to help my daughter who lives there and has two little ones, 2 years and 7 months. Her husband had to fly back to Germany for a family funeral and she came down with a terrible stomach virus. Luckily, it was not a long lasting one and I just got home a couple of hours ago....I hope your cold will also prove short-lived! Spring is on the way!

Ugh. One might have thought that the antibiotic would have had some residual effects. Lie low. Guess you've got some more resting and reading to do.

Hi Brenda, When I didn't see Tea Time Sunday I was worried about you. Your resistance must be so low by now. I understand about being a diabetic. I watched my Dear Mother and now my Sweet Sister battle it. I hope you feel better soon. I said a prayer for you. Hugs Cathy

OH dear, I'm so very sorry! Maybe you can get a hot cup of tea and snuggle into your couch with an old classic movie or something! Watch something you are familiar with...that way if you get to doze off, you won't really miss anything!
I hope you feel much better soon!
Blessings!
Beth

Oh no! Nice of Christopher to share, but really - germs are the exception to 'share and share alike'! I think after all of our Storyteller's colds the rest of the family is finally becoming immune - he pretty much keeps his to himself - of course we make him wash his hands until they are raw because he's the touchy feelie type! You would hope that all those nasty antibiotics in your system will work to your benefit, but I guess one's viral and the other bacterial. Do rest and take care!

I hate it when my children share... their germs!

Take care of yourself and tell Christopher to come nurse you a little. He owes you, right?!
