Return to Cranford



The sequel to the lovely film, Cranford, begins this evening on American PBS stations.

It is available to view online only from January 10 through February 16... here.

Thanks for the info on this : ) I am downloading the audio book from the library now plus put in a request for the 1st dvd. Hopfully I will be caught up for the 2nd PBS showing on the 17th - otherwise I will just get the 2nd one from the library. I would love to know about others that you reccommend? Thanks again!

Yay! I just read a blurb about this in the paper where it discussed how different viewing audiences are between Great Britain and the U.S. I adore pieces like this, even if I missed the first. We can pull the three major networks...CBS, NBC, and ABC, but not PBS.

Thanks! I didn't know. I have the first series on DVD (got it at Goodwill of all places NEW)!

I can't wait to see it! I think I saw an add for a new Emma also. I love love love these types of movies and really wish they'd make more. They can remake all the Austen books over and over as far as I'm concerned.
