Putting everything where it belongs

I still haven't heard from the clinic but I did call and leave a message yesterday evening, trying to straighten out the confusion about the insulin. If I don't hear from their pharmacy by early afternoon, I will call and leave another message.

Lesson learned... even though everything has flowed smoothly with the clinic before... don't wait until the last moment to pick up any of my prescriptions again... there is always that chance (as in this time) that something goes wrong. This is my long term insulin so I'm taking a little less of what I have left and upping the amount of the short term insulin before each meal.

Otherwise, today begins a stretch where I will be able to stay at home most of the time and finally get the place back to where it should be. The garage had begun to get cluttered in early Autumn but when the Christmas decorations were taken out (and a few other boxes unpacked), "stuff" began to build up everywhere.

I have heard that the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics is proof against the theory of evolution. I can say quite assuredly that it happens often in my home (at a very elementary level, it is that everything begins to fall apart and decay given time).

In my home, laundry can explode... books can stack themselves... an entire civilization can come about on my dining room table... and things find themselves collecting in my bedroom as I sleep.

I plan to return to regular posts about books, deepening the pantry, tea stuff, recipes... as well as general daily ponderings. I tried a great new recipe using brie and a brown sugar mixture over the Holidays. I'll post it very soon.

I didn't take a picture as I was thinking I couldn't post one since my cable that attaches to the computer is broken. A picture could have been taken and then posted later when I was able to purchase a new cable. Oh well, I may have to make it again soon and take a picture then... we all loved it.

Oh, I want the recipe for brie and the brown sugar mixture! I love brie, but just doing it plain all the time is boring. Please do post the recipe

Blessings on your day.

Hmmm, your recipe above sounds delicious. Sadly, my beloved and I are on the New Year's diet. You'll be slipping it into the cooking blog, I presume.

I always heard that about the Law of Thermodynamics, too. We've traveled in the same circles or read the same books or heard the same teachings.

Bother have things ever exploded around here, too. I'm looking forward to a day to give it my full attention. No computer on tomorrow...not.at.all. (I hope that I'm not lying. ;>)

Hope that, by now, you've heard from the clinic!

I forgot to mention that I hope that the confusion with the clinic is cleared up sooner than later and that you receive the amount of insulin that you need!
