Another boring post

I still have lots to write about... eventually.

I thought I'd have computer time today but around 10:30 last night, it was decided that I needed to act as chauffeur another day. I won't bore you with the details but it consists of using way too much gasoline taking people to work and classes and home from classes and back to classes and back to work... etc.

It's rather difficult to get into and remain in a deep pondering mood when one is spending an enormous amount of time at stop lights. The alternative would have been for hubby to get up at 5:50 this morning when he didn't arrive home from work until 8:30 PM.

In the past week, I have read Don't Waste Your Life in various medical waiting rooms and college libraries. So I haven't wasted my time as such... I mean, if you stop to think about it... chauffeuring is an important Mom job.

It's just not how I anticipated spending my Friday. Oh, well...

Don't Waste Your Life? Must check into that one. As we grow older, we do spend far more time in various offices, mostly medical. I accompany my mother and my dh to all such appointments and they are far too many. Exhausting work it can be.

Bet your dh was happy that you were willing to pull driving duties today. He's pulling some long hours.

I am sure you were a blessing to both of the men in your house today.

It is much warmer here in PA today. Much more pleasant.

I have been reading about your son's medical concerns. I am glad they have diagnosed the hernia and that the surgery is going to be done relatively quickly.

I'm sure Christopher will be doubly careful now that he knows what's wrong with him. Spring break will be here before you know it.

Driving people around is very exhausting (especially if you're like me and don't like driving to begin with). I'm sure your son and husband really appreciated you doing so.

Christopher is in my prayers for his safety until surgery. Praying for you too. May you have some 'down time' this weekend~on the couch, with a good book or movie, and a kitty on your lap.
Hugs,
Lallee

It's all in the job description, isn't it? Driving takes so much energy and can suck all the creative life out of you. I try to stay at home as much as possible, but there are those days when one has to go to town. I'll be praying for Christopher's health and schooling. I very much enjoy your blog!
