Christopher's 19th birthday is this weekend and he received a very special birthday present today... the car he drives back. No cost... zip.
Our mechanic couldn't figure out why the check engine light stayed on and why it developed that horrible screeching sound that sent it to the car doctor in the first place. He did say the one thing that kept showing up on "whatever computer gadget" he uses with the car was a problem with the transmission.
So, after sitting at our mechanic's place for over a week (we forgot to pick it up before he went on vacation), we drove the car over to the transmission doctor who has had it about a week. We received a phone call this morning. He found a slight problem with a wire that he was able to fix quickly but otherwise, he had no idea what had gone wrong AND the car wasn't making the noise, anymore.
Amazing... neither our mechanic or the transmission shop charged us even though both had put in a great deal of time trying to find the problem.
He did say to tell Christopher if he was driving and the noise started again, to swing by their shop but otherwise... drive it.
Sometimes God provides by bringing in financial provision. Sometimes he just fixes the problem, or so it seems.
... and people wonder why I'm always curious how God is going to work next.

Brenda, this is a wonderful testimony. I have personally witnessed so many miracles such as this. When my mother and I where struggling along after my daddy died money would come from so many anonymous places. My mother was always faithful to the Lord and she didn't doubt He would take care of us. Multiple times she would find small bags of money. I was with her on some of these occasions. It would be laying there on the sidewalk and would have no ID. My mother would have definitely turned it in if it would have been identifiable. I have to ask, "Did angels put those little bags of money there?" No, it wasn't huge amounts, $20, $50, etc., but to us it was a gigantic amount of money. Praise the Lord the car is fixed. May He bless the people that helped with getting it to you with no charge. A true miracle in this day and time. I love your encouraging stories.

Yes the Lord does fix cars. He also fixes anything that is necessary. I know this year when it was time to have our car inspected our check engine light kept coming on--they wouldn't even look at it for the inspection because of it. The mechanic told me he could fix it for 1200.00 which he says was a discount from 1900.00. I took it to the mechanic that i have had for 22-23 years. He looked at it, did something or other, had it for just about an hour. Called me told me to take it back. It passed. The Lord is so very faithful and true. He does take care of His own. I am so glad that Christopher's car is working. I know it is truly an answer to your prayers.
